Desiring to spend time with others traveling through the ups, downs, twists, and turns of mothering young ones? Each Thursday we gather to share stories, advice when requested, prayer requests, and a bite to eat along with steaming cups of coffee. This group is open to all, no matter what your faith background, and welcomes any moms who are looking for a place to connect. During our meeting time children are cared for by a wonderful team of childcare workers who offer a craft, outdoor play time when weather permits, songs, a Bible story, and a snack. Infants are nurtured and cared for by a team of experienced moms. A beeper system allows you to be called when needed. Newborns and young infants are welcome to stay with their moms.

A number of guest speakers share their stories and encourage those of us newer to this adventure of motherhood with relevant topics. This year our book discussion weeks will focus on a DVD based study by an up and coming speaker, Margaret Feinberg, called “Scouting the Divine.”

Cost? The fee if you are thinking of joining in January is $25 for moms coming without children; $50 with one child; $70 for two or more children (this comes to roughly $4.50 a week for childcare no matter how many kids you have!) Scholarships are available. Due to space limitations of around 30 registration is required ahead of time.
